چکیده
Environmental monitoring is a recent world-wide approach to save the future in line. The present study focuses on toxicity of heavy metals and pesticides freshwater aquarium fish (Poecilia reticulata Poecilia sphenops). intense drawing acute chronic safe levels pesticide exposed 96 h 28 day respectively. On exposure, were observed be under stress showed excitability. It was that both species highly sensitive arsenic cypermethrin, meanwhile resistant cadmium chlorpyrifos. for As irrespective comparatively lesser than Cd range values exposure between 0.018 0.059 ppb. water quality influencedby many environmental factors, helps aquarist level toxicants medium. This turn increases economic growth aquarist.

15 صفحه اولAcute Toxicity and Behavioral Changes of the Gold Fish (Carassius Auratus) Exposed to Malathion and Hinosan
Background: Pesticides are widely used in agriculture. Excessive use of pesticides has health risk for human and threatens non-target organisms. This research aimed to determine lethal concentrations of malathion and Hinosan for Carassius auratus (5±1 gr) [mean ± SD]. Methods: Experiments were performed according to O.E.C.D for 4 days (96 h) and concentrations of 0, 1, 2, 4, 8 mg L-1 Hinosan...
متن کاملBiotic ligand model of the acute toxicity of metals. 2. Application to acute copper toxicity in freshwater fish and Daphnia.
The biotic ligand model (BLM) was developed to explain and predict the effects of water chemistry on the acute toxicity of metals to aquatic organisms. The biotic ligand is defined as a specific receptor within an organism where metal complexation leads to acute toxicity. The BLM is designed to predict metal interactions at the biotic ligand within the context of aqueous metal speciation and co...
